The job
For our client, we are looking for a highly motivated B2B Sales Executive / Account Manager, who will be responsible for engaging with key customers to commercially develop their high-level European Summit programme. Join their international, passionate, and ambitious team and play your role in progressing the energy industry!
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the commercial growth of the high-level Summit conference, including sales to existing and potential new attendees.
- Creating, developing, and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders through a consultative sales approach.
- Keeping abreast of market developments, identifying, and researching new growth areas for sales, in close cooperation with the content development team.
- Maintaining key customer care objectives.
- Liaising with the marketing and sales team to follow up on enquiries, upselling, database updates, group bookings & international delegations.
- Ensuring that all sales administration is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner and manage weekly reporting.
- Ensuring and assisting accounts personnel in the timely payment of all customer payments.
Requirements
- A self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
- A commercially driven team player, with 2 to 5 years’ experience in B2B sales.
- Someone who is eager to develop his/her commercial skills with a focus on a customer centric sales approach.
- A great communicator, both written as verbally on a business level degree of English.
- A great negotiator with good presentation skills.
- Someone who does not step away of administrative tasks and is able to work organized and efficiently.
- Someone who is familiar, or keen to get familiar, with the dynamics of the energy industry.
- Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
