Our international client who is an international non-profit organisation is looking for a Senior ERP Functional Analyst.
Responsibilities/Tasks
The Senior ERP Functional Analyst is responsible for optimizing ERP functionality, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment between system capabilities and business processes. Collaborating closely with the ERP Product Lead, this role involves exploring and implementing native ERP features, preparing user stories, supporting test development, and managing release documentation for stakeholders. The analyst also maintains ERP documentation, develops training materials, and facilitates onboarding and refresher programs to promote knowledge sharing across teams. Additionally, they engage with business units to evaluate and implement change requests, ensuring a structured change control process. By assisting the ERP Product Lead with technical tasks and cross-functional discussions, the analyst supports strategic initiatives, minimizes risk through effective knowledge transfer, and contributes to the professional development of team members while ensuring system continuity.
Specific responsibilities
Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with the ERP Product Lead to explore, test, and document native ERP functionalities to optimize usage.
- Facilitate discussions on how to embed new functionalities and re-engineer business processes to enhance alignment with system capabilities.
- Prepare user stories and support test development efforts.
- Actively participate in regression testing, release management, and documentation of release notes for stakeholders.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Work closely with ERP support colleagues to update and maintain the OneNetwork Online manual.
- Develop and oversee training content, including creating SANA courses, onboarding materials, and refresher programs.
- Organize and conduct ERP training sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality knowledge sharing across teams.
Change Control Management:
- Engage with business units to discuss and understand change requests.
- Provide effective solutions that align with business requirements for change requests.
- Act as the liaison between business units and the ERP Lead/Team to facilitate smooth communication and alignment on ERP adjustments.
- Participate in the pre-assessment and in-depth assessment phases of the change control process to ensure a structured approach to modifications.
Support to ERP Product Lead:
- Assist in lifting technical tasks from the ERP Product Lead to enable focus on strategic initiatives and unit management tasks.
- Support cross-functional discussions where ERP-related systems are involved, collaborating with the OPEX manager and other department leads.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer initiatives to minimize organizational risk and ensure system continuity.
- Support with the development, support, and coaching of team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in an ERP-related role, with emphasis on system configuration, business process alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in a global context or non-profit environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies for product improvement.
- Experience working with operations teams to gather system requirements.
- Experience in creating and delivering training content, ideally within a system management or ERP context.
- Familiarity with online training platforms, such as SANA, and experience in training program design and delivery.
- Experience with OneNetwork is an advantage
- Experience with Jira is an advantage.
