Our client is a global supplier and manufacturer of optical networking equipment as well as a reseller of refurbished networking devices (routers & switches). They are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team at their HQ in Almere, Flevoland.
You will be responsible for establishing new relationships and cultivating existing relationships with large and medium sized (multi country) prospects on behalf of our client for the DACH regions.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
- Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
- Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
- Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behaviour.
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
- Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
- Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
- Identifying industry trends.
- Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field is a nice to have but not mandatory.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a C1/C2 level of German and business fluent English.
- Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
- Understanding of customer behaviors and industry trends.
- Extensive, accurate product knowledge (which will be taught on the job)
- 4+ years of experience within a similar industry of optical components, and networking equipment
