Technical Presales Consultant - English - Nijmegen
Our international client who specializes in IT hardware services on a global scale is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic pre-sales consultant with a strong background in enterprise hardware. You have the drive and curiosity to learn more, and you enjoy thinking outside of the box while taking into account processes.
Responsibilities/Tasks
The successful person needs to have a commercial profile in combination with technical know-how. Ideally, they are looking for a salesperson with 5-10 years of IT / hardware sales experience, who would now prefer to work in an advisory role.
Every day is unique. However, a day in our office would typically include the following:
- Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously - guide / advice colleagues and sales / purchasing teams on technical subjects.
- Managing inventory - Responsible (partially) for analysing stock levels and advising on when / what to purchase at what price and therefore providing advice to purchasing department
- Contributing to various projects to implement new processes and initiatives within the department
- Validating technical orders and assisting the team with technical inquiries
- Translating technical language from the warehouse team into layman's terms for the sales team
- Advice on customer questions / requests when it comes to product specifications and product components.
- Sit in with sales pitches to advice on technical aspects of the products / services that our client sells.
- Sharing your knowledge to suggest and implement training for the team
