Strategic Account Manager - French - Utrecht area
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Strategic Account Management: Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs; build and strengthen client relationships; maintain accurate client records, keeping track of contract updates and renewals; work with internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met; manages and monitors the budget based on consistency and continuity.
- Business & Propositions Development: Participates in proposal writing for existing and new accounts to ensure expectations will be set-up in a realistic way.
- Account onboarding: Identifies and analyses required results, based on defined scope, quality criteria, lead time and calculation; sets up and prepares initiation of account onboarding projects, in line with the overall strategy and policies. Develops a standard way of managing account onboarding based on agile project management standards
- Account Closure:Evaluates and closes accounts, identifies and analyses lessons learned, measures the impact of the account, archives account documents, in accordance with relevant stakeholders.
- Optimization: (Co)Develops, implements, optimizes and/or continuously improves work processes, techniques and systems. Ensures implementation of changes and improvements, as well as the transfer and retention of knowledge within the organization.
- Network and Stakeholder Management:Builds and maintains a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners and identifies and acts upon high-level trends and opportunities within the network.
- Management Information: Provides management with insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments of accounts.
- Risk Management and reporting: reports to senior management about the progress and risks of accounts. Makes detailed risk registers and pro-actively manages risks.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Leads existing and new accounts.
- Introduce account management best practices.
- Provides programmatic leadership and overall performance management for specific PSS related accounts.
- Ensures timely resolution and communication of performance deficiencies and complaints.
- Ensures development, integration, implementation, and collaboration regarding system processes and tools essential to business success.
- Leads reviews and analyses as requested by clients and external/internal stakeholders
- Manages and cultivates existing relationships with funders to secure and expand recurring revenue streams.
- Oversee and monitor the fulfilment of requests.
Requirements
- Experienced account manager, business administration or other relevant studies.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Supply chain knowledge, specifically procurement and/or logistics
- Sound experience in organizing and facilitation of meetings with stakeholders.
- Continuous assessment of account performance against scope, deliverables, and plan
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking, priority management
- Excellent communication with strong sense of customer service.
- Fluency in English is required, French is a plus.
- Experience in the Health/Pharmaceuticals sector.
