Our international client, leader in supply chain services and whose European HQ is based in the area of Leiden, is looking for a self-motivated candidate to join its ambitious team as a Customer Care Associate.
This position is to cover a maternity leave, with a contract running until approximately mid-May 2027.
Responsibilities/Tasks
We are looking for an individual who is service-oriented and uses his/her analytical thinking skills to provide a high level of service to customers across different vertical markets. In this role, success will be evaluated by building solid relations with external customers and internal teams.
- Provide customer and product support to clients across various European markets.
- Troubleshoot logistics, product, and order-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Review and process purchase orders and contracts, supporting post-sales activities.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Shipping, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and communication.
- Maintain accurate customer account information in CRM and ERP systems.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, German, French or Italian
- Experience with an ERP/CRM database and superior attention to detail to accurately input data and navigate a database is preferred
- Experience working with international customers is preferred
