Technical Services Manager | English | Utrecht area

Our client is an international technical company in the Utrecht area. As Technical Services Manager, you'll lead the Applications Engineers within the Sales Department, overseeing applications, design and repair support for resellers across Europe and reporting to the Technical Services Director.

Responsibilities/Tasks

Team leadership & training

• Manage, coach and train the Applications Engineers team, and own its goals
• Handle escalated technical, commissioning and design projects yourself when needed
• Stay up to date with new technologies and AV products

Pre-sales & after-sales support

• Support Sales on large designs, tenders and quotes, and keep follow-up on smaller projects proactive
• Oversee troubleshooting, the RMA process and on-site commissioning
• Evaluate the team's support and resolve customer issues
• Feed product improvement needs back to product development

Requirements

• Strong hands-on AV experience in system design, programming and commissioning, including AV control and AV over IP
• Experience managing technical staff in AV integration
• Confident delivering technical training
• Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
• Excellent English, written and spoken
• Already living in the Netherlands with the right to work here
