AV Programmer | English | Remote

Our client is the market leader in the audiovisual industry. As AV Programmer, you'll help customers install, configure and run a wide range of AV control products, combining hands-on technical support with programming expertise.

Responsibilities/Tasks

Technical support & control applications

• Provide remote and occasional on-site support for AV control systems, from configuration to troubleshooting
• Diagnose issues with control software, AV hardware communication (RS232, TCP/IP) and third-party integrations
• Guide customers through system setup and resolve software or hardware anomalies
• Deliver advanced training to customer programmers, online or on-site

Escalation & product feedback

• Escalate cases to the Control Manager when needed
• Share product improvement needs with Product & Development, based on field experience and tenders
• Stay up to date on certifications and specifications for AV control system

Requirements

• Strong background in AV control systems such as AMX, Crestron, Extron or QSC
• Solid Python 3 programming skills, plus Visual Studio Code
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, SQL databases and networking (TCP/IP, NAT, routers)
• Familiarity with RS232/RS422, SSH and web sockets
• Proven experience in AV technical support, system design and commissioning
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Clear communicator who can explain technical topics to non-technical users
• Fluent English
• Based in the Benelux or DACH region
