Our client is a world leader comprehensive conveyance solution.

Responsibilities/Tasks

In this role you will support customers with detailed technical calculations, sizing of equipment and product recommendations to optimize the conveyance of products in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods markets. You will be a member of the Technical Support Group (TSG), an integral part of our client’s service organization, based in the Netherlands.

What will you do?

  • Technical evaluations of conveying systems by performing detailed calculations, analysis and conveyor design review
  • Making industry specific product recommendations
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely
  • Participate in development and maintenance of tools and documentation
  • Collaborate and align with Application Engineers, Account Managers and others to ensure we are aligned in our service offerings and recommendations – one voice

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, ideally, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering
  • Experience related to material handling, conveyor systems, or in technical customer support (remote and/or on-site) is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Service minded; self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership
  • Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and Microsoft Suite
  • Professional level of French with advanced communication skills in English. Additional language skills are an advantage
