Responsibilities/Tasks
- Managing the financial performance of the business unit
- Expanding existing client relationships
- Managing businesses that meet or exceed projections
- Participating in the internal management of the company
- Guiding team development through identifying skills, needs, delegating tasks appropriately and motivating teams to produce exceptional results
- Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Contributing ideas into the overall management and well-being of the company
- Serving as a mentor to others and consistently identifying and implementing new ways to improve the quality of the company’s work and shareholder outcomes.
- Maintaining high service levels to ensure a strong customer experience
- Assisting expansion of revenue & customers through multi-faceted interactions, including face to face, phone, and web-based platforms (email, IM, etc.)
- Facilitating new customer relationships through campaign development and execution
Requirements
- Experience leading a cross-functional team
- P&L Responsibility with a solid financial background
- Demonstrated experience leading across multiple functions, including marketing, supply chain, sales, business development, and operations
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in STEM disciplines or Business Administration, Management, Marketing with relevant work experience in a technical field
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong adaptability, creativity, and drive to succeed
- Solid Negotiation Skills
- Strong team player; motivated and extremely customer centric
- Able to build a go to market strategy
- Ability to manage conflict – particularly at the client level
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience selling in a B2B environment
- Food industry or material industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Experienced in use of customer relationship management (CRM) software
